Todd was born and raised in Northern California. After graduating from high school, he served four years in the United States Navy, an experience that helped shape his discipline, work ethic, and commitment to service. Following his military service, Todd returned home and pursued his education at Sacramento State University, where he studied criminal justice and developed a strong interest in the legal system.
Inspired by that interest, Todd went on to earn his law degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Law in the Bay Area. His background includes years of blue-collar work prior to entering the legal field, an experience that continues to inform his practical and grounded approach to his work.
Since receiving his J.D., Todd has built valuable legal experience working as a paralegal in several legal settings. He previously worked with the Contra Costa County Public Defender’s Office as well as a private insurance defense firm. He now serves as a paralegal with Summit Defense, where he supports attorneys in representing clients facing criminal charges and contributes to the preparation and development of defense strategies.
